There seems to be anever ending number of new treadmills released every year from NordicTrack with unique options, and the NordicTrack Viewpoint treadmill adds to that list with a built-in LCD TV that's housed in the display console.

I'm not even going to dive into the complete review of the Viewpoint treadmill here, let's just suffice it to say that you should cross this model off your list immediately.

Although I like the idea of having a TV built into the console, NordicTrack made the mistake of trying to make the Viewpoint treadmill all things to all people - and they tried to do it on a budget.

There's no way you can cram that much stuff into a treadmill and keep the price point down without cutting corners somewhere else on the machine.

When you're presented with the WOW factor of the TV, do you think you might me overlooking some important features like a strong motor, good rollers and a heavy flywheel?

I do!

Let me ask you this, "Would you buy a car because it was the only one that has a DVD navigation system and throw all other considerations out the window?"

I know somw people would, but I also think those people have a bolt loose in their head!

Instead of getting the viewpoint, shop for a quality treadmill like the Sole F63, then take your leftover money and buy yourself a kick-ass LCD TV to hang on your wall, and do it for the same amount of money.
