Landice L7 Treadmill
Not too long a go the Landice L7 was the preferred treadmill of health clubs worldwide. Landice built their reputation on making club quality equipment that can withstand the constant beating of the club environment.
Today there is a lot of competition in the high end treadmill market, so the question is this, "Is the Landice L7 still the king of club quality treadmills, or should you invest your money elsewhere?"
The short answer is this. The L7 is a great treadmill, there's no doubt about that, the problem is, Landice got to the top of the treadmill heap and then rested on their laurels.
They didn't bother investing much time in the continuous development of their treadmills. Other brands like Life Fitness, Sole and Smooth soon moved into their part of the market and started to make high quality treadmills, and promptly took a large part of their market share away.
That's why when you go down to your local health club you won't find many Landice treadmills on the floor. That's not to say that they aren't any good, but there are other options that are equal or better than the Landice L7 and don't come with the bloated price tag.
For comparable machines to the Landice L7, see my reviews of the Life
Fitness t3i, Precor 956, Smooth
9.25 and the Sole F85.
