Total Trainer Power Pro Home Gym
I mentioned on my blog that my wife and I had a chance to demo the Bayou line of glide board home gym's which ranged from the entry level Total Trainer DLX, Total Trainer DLX III, the Strength Plus Pilates 3500 and the Total Trainer Power Pro pictured above.
Of all the Bayou models that we tried, we kept coming back to the Power Pro as the most useful and well rounded machine of the four, here's why.
The Power Pro has everything you need in a glide board gym. Starting with the large (14" x 48") well padded board that glides smoothly on the aluminum monorail, to the oversized squat and leg platform that accommodated me and my wife easily (she's 5'-5" 120 pounds, and I'm 6'-2" 205 pounds....
With the level of design engineering and attention to detail of the aluminum frame, all chrome accessories and the comfortable and thickly padded bench, the Power Pro has withstood the beating it has received in our training studio without a hitch.
Total Trainer Power Pro Specs
Included Accessories: Sit-up Cuff Strap, Pro Ab Strap,
Foot Trays, Chrome Power Weight Bar for Adding Free Weights, Chrome Pull-up
Push-up Bar, Over-sized Heavy Duty Squat Board, Chrome Independent Twin
Handles, Dual Leg Cuffs, Strength Training DVD, Four Program Cards, Instructional
Manual and Guide.
The Power Pro comes fully assembled and double boxed for protection which is a real plus, as it eliminates the pain and frustration of dealing with damaged equipment and tedious hours of late night assembly time.
As I've said before, and I'll say again, if you've come close to pulling out your wallet for a Total Gym while watching late night TV, don't do it...
At least not until you check out the Bayou website and find out what you could get for less than half the money of a Total Gym, and pocket the extra $500 - 600 extra bucks you'll save for more trivial purchases like gas and food...
