Golds Gym Power Flex Home Gym
The Golds Gym Power Flex Gym is a hybrid gym that's one part Bowflex, one part Weider Crossbow Platinum and one part old school strength station.
I like the concept of being able to do muscle building exercises like pullups and dips, but the execution of the rest of the machine leaves something to be desired.
The real weakness of the design is the close proximity of the cable station arms and pulleys. With such a short distance between them, it's hard to do exercises like chest flys.
There's also no squat station on the Power Flex, so you're left with doing your leg workout on the leg extension, which is a decent unit, doesn't seem to match the focus of the rest of this machine.
Exercise Variations on the Golds Gym Power Flex:
With a couple of changes to the Gold's Gym Powerflex this gym could be
a contender in the mid level market, but for now I do not recommend this
gym.
