Bowflex Ultimate 2 Home Gym

The Bowflex Ultimate 2 Gym is the most complete 'Health Club Alternative Gym' in the Bowflex lineup that includes the Extreme 2, Revolution, and all other Bowflex Gyms.

If you want the biggest, baddest Bowflex gym on the market, your search has ended with the Ultimate 2 gym.

As the name implies, the Ultimate 2 has everything but the kitchen sink thrown in, including a fully integrated squat station, preacher curl attachment, full rowing station and complete adjustabilty allowing you to perform more than 95 exercise without making a cable change!

The Ultimate 2 comes standard with 310 pounds of power rods, that leaves plenty of room to grow with this machine, and will probably be all the resistance you'll ever need.

Key Specs on the Bowflex Ultimate 2 Home Gym:

  • 310 pounds of Power Rod standard - upgradeable to 410 pounds
  • Lat tower with angled lat bar
  • Leg extension/leg curl station
  • Preacher curl attachment
  • Integrated, biomechanically correct squat station
  • Built-in adjustable pulley system
  • Cable Change Pulley System – go from one exercise to another without changing cables making your workout faster
  • Ultra smooth built-in rowing machine for cardiovascular warm-up and cool-down

It's easy to move from exercise to the next with the 'no cable change' feature, and I like the fact that you can adjust the bench to different angles or simply remove it when you want to do squats on the built-in station.

The Ultimate 2 gym is a good value when you consider how many machines this gym replaces.

In order to do the same amount of exercises on separate machines you'd have to go out and buy a bench press, squat rack, arm curl station, leg extension machine, leg curl machine and a full cable column (which will cost you about $4000 for good equipment).

If you're tired of fighting the crowds and lines at the health club, but don't want to sacrifice workout quality and effectiveness, the Bowflex Ultimate 2 gym should be high on your shopping list...
