Bodycraft Xpress Home Gym

The Bodycraft Xpress gym has been the most popular Bodycraft model, due to it's unique design and small size, that make it a good fit for small home gyms.

One of the best features of the Bodycraft Xpress is the free motion cable system. The cable system offers the advantages of free weights, with the safety and convenience of a machine.

You can easily simulate free weight exercises like core training, functional sports training and many movements that a typical fixed motion machine like the Bodycraft Galena will not.

Key specs on the Bodycraft Xpress gym:

  • Dimensions: 82.9" deep x 56.5 " wide x 83" tall (85.45" wide x 90.5 deep with optional leg press)
  • 200 lbs. weight stack in 10 lb. increments. Precision milled cast iron plates with nylon bushings for smooth action
  • Heavy 2" X 2" and 2" X 3", 11 and 12 gauge steel tubing frame
  • Flexible nylon coated, 7X 19 strand aircraft cable rated at over 2000 lbs. tensile strength
  • Internally lubricated bearings
  • Lat Pull Bar, Curl Bar, Ankle Strap and two Single Handles are included
  • Lifetime warranty

The Xpress is also a highly adjustable home gym with a seat that accommodates large and small users alike, and makes it ready to get into the proper alignment and biomechanical position for each exercise.

The bench press station has an adjustable starting point that makes it feel more like lifting traditional free weights. Couple that fact, with the fully adjustable tilt feature of the seat back and the "doubling cable" which increases the resistance in a 2:1 ratio of up to a 400 pounds of resistance, and you have a very ergonomic pressing station that rivals machines you'll find at the health club.

Each of the cable arms has a separate cable (w/ swivel handle) and is able to raise and lower up to 160 degrees to perform a full array of 'free weight mimicking' exercises, without the danger and expense of having a full set of dumbbells.

To round out the rest of the Bodycraft Xpress, here is what you get:

  • Ab crunch station for abdominal training
  • Fold the footplate down for abductor and adductor
leg kicks, arm curls, and upright rows
  • Self-aligning leg extension and curl station provides seated leg extension and standing leg curl and automatically adjusts to fit all leg sizes
  • High pulley station for lat pull downs, and triceps push downs
  • Space saving design allows placement against a wall
  • Optional leg press attachment for full leg development

The Bodycraft Xpress gym is a very good value for the money and will make a great addition to any home gym, and especially so for those who want to get all the benefits of free weights, without the risks.
