Schwinn 131 Exercise Bike Review
The Schwinn 131 Upright bike is the high end upright offered in the Schwinn model line which includes the Schwinn 10, 101, and 130 uprights.
The Schwinn 131 is, for all intents and purposes, the same upright bike as the Schwinn 130 model.
If you read my review of the recumbent Schwinn models (Schwinn 230 and Schwinn 231) you'd know that I don't recommend spending the extra money to get the more expensive 231 recumbent over the 230.
That's not the case with the 131 vs. the 130. Why? It's simple.
For some reason (Schwinn didn't ask me, and I have no clue) the 131 upright is only $50 bucks more than the 130...
Schwinn 130 Key Specs and Benefits
And for that extra $50 bucks you get the upgraded generation 2 backlit display, and a whole slew of workouts that include 3 heart rate and 2 custom programs.
If an extra 50 bucks isn't going to break your budget,
I'd recommend picking up the Schwinn 131 over the Schwinn 130 (if you're strapped
for cash get the Schwinn 130)...
