New Balance Recumbent Bike Review
I hate to keep ripping on New Balance, but they should have kept making their own exercise equipment instead of farming out the New Balance Recumbent bike to Fitness Quest.
At first look, the New Balance recumbent bike looks sleek and stylish - and may very well garner a mid-level price.
But when you start to checkout some of the features of the New Balance a little closer and compare them against recumbent bikes in the same price range, the New Balance Recumbent falls on its' face.
I don't care for the seat on this recumbent bike at all. The mesh backing seems cheap and the bottom portion of the seat is anything but comfortable.
And then there's the mediocre display console with hard to read LCD readouts that belongs on a budget exercise bike, not a mid-level bike.
If you're shopping for a recumbent in this price range, skip the New Balance Recumbent and checkout the Schwinn 213 or the Nautilus NR 2000 if you're after a club quality recumbent bike.
