Edge 491 Exercise Bike Review
The Fitness Quest Edge 491 Recumbent is a bike you might consider if you're sticking around the under $400 price range, but it comes up short when compared to similar Schwinn models like the 201 and 203 recumbents...
You've probably seen the Edge 491 bike being sold online, or maybe you wanlked past one in your local sporting goods store and thought to yourself, "Hey that Edge looks like a pretty good exercise bike for the money."
If you're trying to stay under $400 bucks for an exercise bike, I can't blame you for taking a look at the Edge 491. But after just one look keep moving and find yourself a better made bike.
About the only plus the 491 has going for it are the (2) heart rate controlled workouts, but with the heart rate sensor that's not very accurate, the programs are of little practical use.
Fitness Quest is known for packing a lot of features into their exercise equipment, but they often times miss the mark on quality, fit and finish.
If you want t bike that's all show and no go, then the Fitness Quest Edge 431 Exercise bike is for you.
If on the other hand, you want a bike with a little more substance and reliability, check out the Schwinn 213 Recumbent or the Reebok rb 345 instead.
