Reebok 1500 Elliptical Trainer

The Reebok RL 1500 Elliptical is the top of the line elliptical trainer offered by Reebok resting above the the Reebok 545 and Reebok 645 elliptical trainers.

Similar models include the Smooth CE 2.1 , Smooth CE 3.2 and the Sole E35 and the Sole E95 elliptical trainer.

The RL 1500 is obviously the far superior machine to the 525 and 645, but it also comes with twice the price tag of the 645.

The big question is this, "Is the Reebok RL 1500 worth almost twice the price of the lower end Reebok elliptical machines?"

The first thing you'll notice about the 1500, is that is looks nothing like its cheaper siblings it's almost a work of art, and very sleek for an elliptical machine.

Of the major benefits the 1500 elliptical has over the 545 and 645, the nice long 20" stride length (which comes into 'major play' during intense workout sessions when your speed increases) is the best reason to buy this elliptical machine over the other two.

The second reason I really like this machine is the included chest strap heart rate sensor that's far superior to the ekg pulse grip, and allows the elliptical to automatically adjust the resistance and program on the fly, without you having to monkey around with any buttons or controls while working out.

Finally, the 6 window led console is another nice touch but shouldn't make or break your decision.

Overall, the Reebok RL 1500 elliptical is a nice package for the money, but when you get up into this price range there are other strong contenders that are even better.
