Proform 900 Elliptical Trainer
There are two Proform 900 elliptical trainer models on the market. One is the Proform 900 Cardiocross, and the second is the Proform 900 Spacesaver elliptical that folds - this review is for the latter.
The Proform 900 elliptical is a new design from Icon that has a couple of unique features that make this elliptical very appealing for those of you on a limited budget.
For starters, the 900 folds up when you're done using it to help make storage simpler. Just because it folds isn't a reason to buy one however, because you only gain an additional 24" when you fold up the back end of the machine.
The features on the Proform 900 that I think are worth considering are the adjustable stride length for tall and short users, and the Pace Coach program that's built into the unit to help you stay at your desired zone.
If you read my review of the Nordictrack Spacesaver elliptical you'll know that I savaged that machine because of the high price. With the similar, lower priced Proform 900 elliptical I think the story is a bit different.
