Lifegear Elliptical Trainer
Just when you think there was no way anyone would manufacture and sell an elliptical trainer under $200, along comes Lifegear to try and capture the ultra budget market.
I understand what Lifegear is trying to do here by offering a low end machine that will appeal to Walmart shoppers that think that because it's cheap and has some features that it's a good deal.
The problem I have with budget ellipticals like the Lifegear (you can read my tirade on a similar model here) is that they aren't built to last.
When you try to slash the price this low, then add useful features like a good display console, you can take performance and durability and throw them out the window.
Low price and durability are two words that don't belong together in the same sentence. I don't care what the manufacturer woudl like you to believe...
Lifegear Elliptical Key Specs and Benefits:
Although the list of features looks decent for the money, don't be fooled into a false sense of confidence about the Lifegear elliptical or you're going to be sorry later.
If you can't afford a good elliptical trainer, save your money and take up walking for awhile. Then when the time comes to make a purchase, go see my best elliptical machine ratings and see which elliptical machines make the grade...
