Tony Little Gazelle
Question
I have been using the Tony Little Gazelle machine for 6 months, 30 to 45 minutes per day. I feel like I have more energy but have not firmed up. Am I wasting my time?
Answer
I'm glad to see you're exercising every day, you're right on target with your cardio session time on the Gazelle but could probably take a couple days off a week so you don't get burned out.
Try doing cardio two or three days a week and strength training with something like the TRX Suspension Trainer or Bodylastics two or three days a week for a well rounded routine.
If you're doing cardio or strength training and not getting the results you want, the typical problem is diet. You can do all the fitness training in the world and if your diet is mediocre, your results will be too.
Are you wasting your time on the Tony Little Gazelle? I do recommend the machine for people on a super tight budget, but you can certainly do better on an elliptical with adjustable magnetic resistance and larger stride length like these ellipticals I recommend.
