Nordictrack FreeStrider 35 S
Question
I noticed you haven't reviewed the Nordictrack FreeStrider 35 S elliptical trainer - do you have any experience with it? I would like to order one before Christmas and have enjoyed reading all of the information on your site! Thank you for any comments you may be able to provide on this model.
Answer
The new Nordictrack Free Strider 35S Elliptical looks like a really cool machine, totally unlike any elliptical I have seen introduced to the market. It's like an elliptical trainer and stair stepper had a hybrid baby that shares equal genes from both parents.
The stride angle is markedly different from a traditional elliptical (see picture at right) because the track is designed as a steep sweeping arc, which should make for some killer workouts if you use the entire 35" stride length that Nordictrack advertises for this machine.
Because the Free Strider is so new (as of 12-8-08) and is only available online, I haven't had a chance to test it out yet but will be happy to update this post when I get the chance.
