Reebok Core Board

Question

reebok-core-board.jpgI have been trying to figure out if the Reebok Core Board that had been selling for close to $200 is still on the market. I understood that it was discontinued. If so, do you know the reason why?

Answer

The Reebok Core Board was introduced to the market by Reebok (an Icon Fitness Brand) in an attempt to capitalize on the growing core training and functional strength movement of the past few years made popular by the Bosu Balance Trainer.

The design of the Core Board was solid and it added a twist to training methodology by incorporating a unique recoil design to the 29" x 22" platform along with (8) attachment points for resistance bands and an adjustable difficulty level for use in rehab.

Unfortunately, as you discovered it no longer appears to be in production (not listed anywhere on the ReebokFitness website as of 10/6/08) and is almost impossible to find online unless you get lucky and stuble upon one at eBay or Craigslist.

You can thank Icon Fitness for the short product lifespan of the Reebok Core Board because Icon, in all their infinite wisdom, like to change their entire product line faster than most people change their underwear.
