Proform 930i Treadmill Opinion?
Question
Do you have an opinion on the Proform 930i Treadmill? I was thinking about buying one, but can't decide… Can you help?
Answer
Since the Proform 930i Treadmill (Pro form 930) isn't being manufactured anymore, I'm guessing that you came across one on your local Craigslist community bulletin board. There are a glut of these models there, and my opinion would be to avoid it. Here's why…
The Proform 930 had (when new) a sticker price between $800 - $999 depending on when, and where you could find one (most likely QVC or Home Shopping). If you must have a Proform treadmill (I wouldn't buy one, but to each their own) take a look at my Proform Treadmill Reviews - but please be advised that buying a used Proform Treadmill out of warranty even with moderate use is not recommended.
As I've said before, and I'll say again, I wouldn't buy a Proform Treadmill (especially a used one) because you get what you pay for. I do review and recommend a few Proform models you can see here but that's only for very light use for walkers that are light weight (under 150 pounds).
If you can't afford a treadmill from my best treadmills list, either save you money or get an elliptical trainer. You can get a good elliptical trainer for less than a marginal treadmill that will last longer and breakdown less - see my best elliptical machines page for details and to see what I recommend.
